ShopCore Properties’ Free State Shopping Center Announces Exciting New Stores Opening in 2024

Five new dining, wellness, and retail locations, and two tenant expansions strengthen offerings at the center

Bowie, MD (January, 2024) — 2024 is shaping up to be a year of impressive growth and expanded offerings at ShopCore Properties’ Free State Shopping Center in Bowie, MD. Five stores including Bob’s Discount Furniture and Five Below and several dining spots like fast casual Charleys Philly Steaks and a recently-opened, pick-up-by-car location of Cava are adding new facets to the Free State shopping experience. Impressions Eyecare rounds out the new additions to the property. Local staple Anthony’s Pizza is expanding their popular restaurant to add a new bar, while Starbucks makes a move to a new, refreshed location featuring outdoor seating and a drive-through.

Located at 15500 Annapolis Road in Bowie, Maryland, just 35 minutes north of Washington, DC, the 264,152-square-foot open air shopping center is anchored by Giant, TJ Maxx, and Ross.
