(Encino, Calif.) – The newly redesigned 106,000 square-foot Encino Courtyard, at 17401 Ventura Boulevard at Andasol Avenue, is pleased to welcome Target and Pressed to the shopping center. Five more big-name tenants will open over the next few months in 2021, including Blaze Pizza, Crumbl Cookies, The Kebab Shop, Planet Fitness and Shake Shack.
“We are excited that Target and Pressed are now open and serving customers in our newly redeveloped Encino Courtyard,” said Mark Ross, Senior Director of Leasing at ShopCore Properties, owners and managing entity for Encino Courtyard. “When we decided to redesign the center, we reconfigured the courtyard next to Target to offer a convenient gathering place for the community and customers. The updated courtyard is the perfect spot to hang out, grab a juice from Pressed and enjoy the California sun. We are also happy to share that Crumbl Cookies will be joining us this fall and will be a perfect addition to our already diverse restaurant and retail lineup.”
Since opening its doors three years ago, Crumbl Cookies has expanded to over 200 bakeries in 32 states nationwide, making it the fastest-growing cookie company in the nation. The bakery will lease a 2,069 square-foot space at Encino Courtyard. Each week, the menu will rotate to offer four different specialty flavors in addition to the always available chocolate chip and chilled sugar cookies. The cookies are made in an open-concept kitchen that allows customers to view the entire cookie-making process from balling, to baking and dressing.
“At Crumbl Cookies we are excited to bring the nation’s fastest-growing cookie delivery and takeout company to Encino and we’re excited to be a part of the newly envisioned Encino Courtyard,” said franchise owners Leslie Tauanuu & Eddie Navarro. “With an open kitchen for all to see, our customers get to view every cookie being made and is one of the best experiences of our stores. At Crumbl we value community and the lively atmosphere that the Encino Courtyard brings to the neighborhood.”
In addition to the new openings, Encino Courtyard will be hosting a “Load the Lockers” back to school supply drive now through August 31 benefiting the Heart of Los Angeles. Supplies needed include pencils, sharpies, folders, backpacks, binders, glue, organizers, highlighters, pens, art supplies, post-it notes, tape, construction paper, disinfectant wipes amongst other back to school items. The bright yellow lockers are placed conveniently near Target, where customers can purchase supplies to donate within the lockers.
“When we were re-envisioning this center, we wanted to not only focus on fun, food and fitness, but we also had an objective to serve our community,” said Rishika Mahtani, Regional Marketing Manager at ShopCore Properties. “With our Load the Lockers initiative, we are committed to playing our role in supporting our local communities.”
After the redevelopment of Encino Courtyard was completed, technology solutions provider Spectrum was the first to open in May 2021. Long time tenants including Butterfly Loft Salon and Spa, Flashlaser Aesthetics, Hands to Hold Nail Salon, Petrock Hotel and Spa and Western Bagel will continue to be an integral part of the reimagined center.
The reimaged Encino Courtyard is the valley’s shopping, dining, and beauty destination. With eight new retailers and fast casual dining restaurants opening this Summer and into Fall, Encino Courtyard is poised to be the community’s go to spot on the busy and bustling Ventura Boulevard.
