Mr. Byler joined ShopCore in October 2017 as Director of Property of Management for the Northeast. He has more than 12 years of shopping center experience.

Previously, Mr. Byler worked for Extra Space Storage, where he served as the Director of Facilities for the eastern half of the country overseeing the operation, maintenance, and construction of more than 800 individual self-storage locations. Prior to Extra Space Storage, Mr. Byler served as the Director of Operations for Tanger Outlets, where he oversaw the daily operations of 47 outlet shopping centers throughout the United States and Canada, totaling more than 16 million square feet of gross leasable area.

Mr. Byler graduated from Millersville University with a B.S. in Business Administration. Mr. Byler also holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He is an active member of Innovating Commerce and Serving Communities (ICSC), where he holds the Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) and the Certified Retail Real Estate Professional (CRRP) designations.
