Mr. Cabral joined ShopCore in September of 2017 as Director of Asset Management. He has over 18 years of commercial real estate experience, 10 years primarily focused on retail.

Mr. Cabral is responsible for executing property level strategies and managing the financial performance of open-air retail and mixed-use communities totaling 2.6 million square feet. Previously, Mr. Cabral served as Asset Manager for The Scion Group, responsible for managing mixed-use student housing investments and establishing retail asset management practices for the firm. Prior to The Scion Group, in 2014 , Mr. Cabral joined the Asset Management team with Inventrust Properties focusing on their open air retail portfolio . Before his role at Inventrust Properties, Mr. Cabral began his real estate career with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). He spent 8 years at JLL holding various roles within multiple service groups including Construction Finance, Office Investment Sales, National Investor Accounts, and Transaction Advisory Services. Within these roles, he worked within JLL’s Boston, San Diego, and Chicago corporate offices.

Mr. Cabral holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut and completed the Real Estate Finance program at Boston University . He is an active member of Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC).
